SchoolsCall Information Line

This information line can be set up to hold various pieces of information. Firstly, we suggest a Daily News voicemail box, this would be for any last minute changes happening on that day, i.e. school closure due to snow, cancellation of sports day, change to an after school club, etc.  Then, a voicemail box for Weekly News, so everything that is happening at the school next week,any trips, theme days etc.  The next could be an After School Activities section, holding the details of all the different clubs.  Then a section for General School Information, term dates, inset days, dinner money prices, etc.  Also we can connect the caller directly to the school office if they don’t get the information they are looking for.

How does it work?

Each school has their own number to distribute to the parents. 

The school is given a number to ring and update, the teacher or secretary dials in with an access number and records the message.

For every call made, BT charge the caller 8.5p per minute.  From this we are able to pay the school 4.5p per minute as a reveunue share. 

SchoolsCall SMS

This is a simple to use messaging service, where you can instantly send as many text messages as you need directly to parents, so they can be informed immediately.  This can be done from any web connected PC, anywhere.  All you need to do is type in your message, copy and paste the recipients numbers to the message, type in your schools name in the title bar, so the parents know where the message has come from, and send.

This service is available for just 6.5p per text, with no minimum contract term or associated fee charges.  For ease of admin, we ask you to pre-pay 1000 texts, which would be just £65.00 + VAT.

SportsCall Information Line

This information line can be set up for one team, or for a club, and each number can hold information for up to 10 teams.  The coach is given a number to ring in  and leave a message.  When the next training session is, what time to be where for the next game, who is in the squad,etc.  The parents then ring in and listen. 

This system not only works well for the team, you could have a club line , or a results line, instead of the fixtures secretary spending hours waiting for results to be phoned through, they can just ring the number and leave a verbal message which is converted in to an email and sent to the fixtures secreatry.

How does it work?

The coach is issued with a number to disribute to the team and their parents. 

The coach is then given a number to ring in with an access code  and leaves the message for the team.
